ServiceMaster Clean Awards Highest Honor to Local Franchisee

 Local cleaning specialist is recognized at the company’s International Convention.

CAROL STREAM, Ill. (August 2, 2011)—ServiceMaster Clean announced today that it has awarded its highest honor, the Marion E. Wade Master Award to David S. Moore, owner of ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning Services, at its International Convention recently held in Memphis, Tenn. The award is named after Marion E. Wade, the founder of ServiceMaster. Prior to receiving the Marion E. Wade Master Award, Moore was presented its Achiever, Expert, and Excellence awards.

“It is an honor to earn this distinction,” said Moore. “But honestly, I owe my success to the people that work here, our loyal customers and our adherence to ServiceMaster’s systems.  All this is measured against ServiceMaster’s corporate objectives – which we strongly adhere to – To honor God in all we do, to help people develop, to excel with our customers and to grow profitable.  By simply acknowledging these core company principles in everyday work situations, I find that our customers have confidence that the job was done right the first time, and more importantly, they can trust me.”

Recipients of the Achiever Award must meet a variety of criteria in order to be nominated, including a minimum revenue amount, a minimum growth of 10 percent and a nomination by their Regional Business Development Manager. From these recipients, the top franchises are selected for the Expert award.  The Excellence Award is given to the top five franchises in the Expert category. The recipients, who were honored at the convention, represent the top performing franchise owners from over 3,200 businesses worldwide. The Marion E. Wade Award of Honor is given to the top franchise owner selected from the five Excellence Winners.

Moore earned a Bachelor of Science from Taylor University and is both Green Seal- and Healthcare cleaning-certified. Outside of work, he serves as a Sunday school teacher, soccer coach and is active on various Boards. He and his wife Lissy are parents to two sons, Davis and Devin.
